Our teachers are a unique group of caring and talented individuals. They are committed professionals who are avid learners that continually strive to improve through trainings, cooperative learning events, and in-service meetings on various topics relevant to our field. When we hire new teachers, we look for people who have an inner drive and desire to not only educate but to continually learn. We appreciate a passion for learning, a cooperative attitude, kindness, professionalism, tenacity, and an eagerness to improve individually as well as collectively.
Most of all, a Cambridge teacher must love to work with children of all ages and understand the different ways in which each individual child learns. He/she must also have a great deal of patience, endless amounts of love and compassion, and a deep understanding of what children need at all developmental ages and stages.
What is received in return is priceless - love, appreciation, and a supportive workplace that acknowledges and values the work our teachers do to help children learn and keep the parents well informed about our daily activities.
We offer benefits, paid vacation, holiday time, and much more. If you are interested in joining a growing preschool with a unique/child-centered approach to teaching and learning, please contact the Director of Cambridge at [email protected].
Lead teachers must have a Bachelor's in Education (for Kindergarten, PreK and Rising 4s) or a minimum of a CDA and five years' experience (for Lead Teachers working with children under the age of 3). Every employee must be a US citizen or foreign national with proof of authorization to work in the United States as well as a spotless criminal record and unblemished credit score.
