CAMBRIDGE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS - WHAT HAPPENS AFTER 3:00pm?
Our afternoons are just as important as our mornings. Children long to socialize and be active with peers, engaging in meaningful activities or simply playing on the playground. For these reason we offer a variety of activities and experiences that engage our students in positive experiences such as gardening, movement based games, story time or simply a good old game of hide and seek (we always know where they are!)
Cambridge students are a close knit bunch and tend to work well together finishing up morning projects in their classrooms or getting started on new ideas for the next day. Our play space is large, and offers a great deal of activity and fun to be had.
We have several electives from which children can choose such as ballet, art, piano, sports, and technology (coding, Earobics) as well as private tutoring opportunities in various subjects.
Students need more than a strong curriculum, good teachers, and time in the classroom in order to succeed - they need time to process and take in all they have seen and experienced in the day. Our after-school program provides learning experiences that will help children learn and process. The research is clear: children in quality after-school programs are more likely to view school as a positive experience and prosper throughout their lives.
