We believe that children have rights
We believe that all children have rights as individuals in our society. Each child has the right to be cared for, to be immersed in an atmosphere of trust and treated as an important member of the community. Each child not only has the right to an exceptional early learning experience which nourishes and encourages their cognitive, social, emotional and physical growth but also one that helps the development of character, confidence, and ability.

We believe that classrooms and learning experiences should inspiring and exciting 
We believe that a school's classroom and outdoor areas should be inspirational, home-like spaces filled with natural light, with an openness which lets creativity flow and is ever-changing so as to encourage children to delve deeper and deeper into their interests. A school is an extension of a child's world and should be nurturing, loving, congenial and as stress free. Our welcoming  learning environment encourages children to explore, to experiment, to problem solve and to interact with their peers and teachers. Our classrooms and outdoor spaces  ignite a passion to learn, to grow, to take risks and to explore relationally, academically and creatively. 

Our 5 year international, project-based curricular plan is created based on current research
Our five year plan builds upon each child's learning style, current capabilities and innate talents as they move from grade to grade.  Each year our children are actively engaged in developmentally appropriate experiences which expand their understanding of the world around them.  Each child is immersed in multi=cultural, language-rich environments which promote early literacy, higher order thinking, mathematical understanding, creativity and collaboration with others through experiences which build upon prior knowledge.. In year 3 our curriculum introduces project work which weaves in more advanced math, science, art and technology with a focus on each child's learning strengths and social and emotional growth.  As partners in the child’s learning experiences, we grow together.  Our goal is to ensure every child reaches their potential, becomes an ingenious problem solver and creative thinker- and most of all, becomes a passionate lover of learning.

We build positive and supportive relationships
Our school was built on a foundation of trust, safety, support and responsive care for both for children and families. We believe that healthy relationships between child, parent, and educators are crucial for each child's success and development. 

Our school is a community of families who are encouraging, challenging and standing with each other as we walk through these foundational years together. Our children and their families matter to us and we encourage active participation whenever possible.
